Client Service: 
Understand the importance of being a "natural host" - a genuine, authentic enjoyment for providing quality customer experience for guests, including:
1. Check in/check out of guests, take reservations in a friendly and professional manner ensuring accuracy of information and billing.
2. Achieve guest satisfaction by responding to and anticipating guests' needs ensuring all comments and complaints are brought forward to Supervisor.
3. Positively respond and take ownership of guest inquiries, concerns and requests for information, provide solutions and ensure a caring follow-up.
4. Respond to guests special requests where reasonable and follow-up is required.
5. Provide information on facilities and services. Provide general information about points of interest in the area.
6. Accurately process guests' method of payment. 

Team Work:
As a member of the Campground Operations Team, duties may include the following:
1. Monitor campground areas, day use areas, and group camps.
2. Check all sites for issues or problems (eg. water, sewer, hornets, etc.)
3. Overall maintenance compound and campground areas kept to a clean, neat and organized standard, ensuring snow removal, lawn care, and litter is managed as needed.
4. Regular maintenance and inventory of company tools and machinery, ensuring proper working order.
5. Set up and clean up after events.
6. Ensure completion of all duties relating to the shift and a concise handover in order to assist the smooth running of the campground, effective team work and guest satisfaction.
Communication:
1. Assist with the preparation of promotional materials and displays, tourist and visitor information (written material and online, etc.).
2. Assist with preparation and creation of reports, business plans, and press releases (liaise with local business and media).
3. Assist development and fostering strong relationships and partnerships with local community, provincial tourism boards/partnerships, and other key associations.
4. Participation in promotion of the business via relevant trade shows and events.
5. Participation in management meetings with emphasis on marketing, sales and brand management.
To facilitate development of these required skills, I will
• Present and review all existing methods and materials relating to marketing, tourism and hospitality offerings at the park.
• Challenge candidate with creations and updates for review.
Digital Skills:
1. Handle payment of services such as payment options, payment terminal options, cash handling procedures.
2. Become knowledgeable in online reservation systems (Booking.com, Trip Advisor, etc.)
3. Update website pages and administer social media functions such as Facebook.
4. Further develop online presence through other social media options (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
5. Understand and become knowledgeable in the computer system(s).
6. Balance daily/accounting transactions.
7. Complete designated month-end duties.
To facilitate development of these required skills, I will
• Provide training, review and coaching on digital platform requirements and procedures.
• Jointly create/update procedures where necessary.
• Shadow desired activities, if needed.
To ensure a good match, I expect the following from a candidate:
• Friendly, outgoing personality with an appreciation of natural surroundings and people skills.
• Marketing, Hospitality or Tourism experience or training an asset.
• Demonstrated team orientation skills - can they work as a team?
Pursuit or completion of a program similar to Tourism/Hospitality program at Olds College, or
• Pursuit or completion of a marketing program at a post-secondary institution.
• Strong digital skills in keyboarding, web pages and social media is required.
