Pantry Garden: Now Recruiting Volunteers

Looking for ways to contribute on campus this summer? The Pantry Garden program is a new initiative starting summer 2025. This season, we will grow fresh produce to supply our Pantry program and make it a more sustainable and effective system for our students facing food insecurity and acute financial crisis.

With the support of the Botanic Gardens team and the Horticulture faculty, we are seeking six volunteers and two volunteer coordinators to help us accomplish this mission. Volunteer terms begin June 16 and end September 12. We offer a flexible volunteer schedule: you can contribute as many or as few hours as you can. The garden is conveniently located on the Olds College campus.

Please fill out the form if you are interested in participating this summer as a volunteer or volunteer coordinator! Questions can be directed to the Student Experience Manager by emailing saocmanager@oldscollege.ca.
